Sylabs is proud to announce immediate availability of version 3.9 of SingularityPRO, the container runtime that combines high performance and ease of use.
SingularityPRO provides long-term stability and professional support to customers who rely on Singularity for mission-critical workflows. Trusted by many of the world’s top supercomputing centers (including RIKEN, who run Fugaku, the world’s fastest supercomputer), SingularityPRO is also deployed by major companies and institutions in the pharmaceutical, semiconductor, academic, and government sectors.
SingularityPRO 3.9 introduces many new features and improvements, including:
- Improved compatibility with Docker/OCI runtimes
- GPU / MIG support using Nvidia’s native tooling
- Support for security features of new operating system releases
- Full integration with Sylabs Singularity Enterprise, the full stack container solution for enterprise environments.
SingularityPRO is available from Sylabs and its partners for all current versions of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (and derivatives), SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, and Ubuntu LTS. Support for X86-64, ARM64, and POWER environments is included.
